DAY 1: ARUSHA TO LAKE NATRON – LAND OF FLAMINGOS AND VOLCANOES
Depart early from Arusha and travel into the remote and striking region of Lake Natron. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley escarpments, traditional Maasaivillages, and wild landscapes.
Upon arrival, explore the shores of Lake Natron, famous for its vibrant pink flamingo flocks and unique alkaline ecosystem. You may also take a guided walk to nearby waterfalls or the base of Ol Doinyo Lengai, the sacred Maasai volcano.
Later, relax and enjoy dinner at the Lodge, nestled in this otherworldly environment.
DAY 2: EXPLORE LAKE NATRON AND DRIVE TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, spend the morning exploring more of Lake Natron’s stunning landscapes, including refreshing waterfalls and spectacular views. Following lunch and a short rest at the tented camp, begin your journey to Serengeti National Park.
Along the way, keep an eye out for wildlife as the scenery changes. Upon arrival, settle into yourtented camp where a warm welcome and a hearty dinner await, preparing you for the adventures ahead.
DAY 3: FULL-DAY WILDLIFE SAFARI IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After a nourishing breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive across the Serengeti’s endless plains. This iconic park offers incredible opportunities to see lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and possibly elusive leopards. Your guide will share fascinating insights about the animals and the ecosystem.
Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by nature, visit scenic viewpoints, and continue your exploration before returning to the camp in the late afternoon.
DAY 4: GAME DRIVE IN NGORONGORO CRATER
Begin your day with breakfast before descending into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s most famous wildlife conservation areas. Experience the crater’s diverse habitats and abundant wildlife including elephants, lions, rhinos, buffaloes, and more.
Learn about the crater’s geological history and conservation importance from your expert guide. Later in the afternoon, drive to Karatu village, known for its vibrant local culture and beautiful landscapes.
Check into the Lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay.
DAY 5: GAME DRIVE AT LAKE MANYARA AND DEPARTURE
After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic reserve famous for its diverse environments—from dense forests to soda lakes. Enjoy game drives spotting elephants, flamingos, and the park’s renowned tree-climbing lions.
The park’s rich birdlife and stunning scenery make it a memorable final stop.
